The Thirtle Wedding
The wedding day I got to photograph
In May of this year, I had the great pleasure of photographing the Thirtle wedding. The ceremony took place on the 29th April and I wish them both a very happy life together.
The beautiful ceremony was held at Morpeth Town Hall, Northumberland on a lovely sunny day. A rarity here in the north east of England.
All the guests for the ceremony arrived on time with Dale, the groom, waiting patiently for his bride to show. The theme for the day was a lovely blue. My favourite colour, but the day was about them and not me.
On the day the bridesmaids, groomsman and the rest of the party looked amazing. You could tell time was taken to get the look the Thirtles wanted. With every detail looked at. Please click on the images to see them full-size.
The groom waited upstairs in the hall and then the bride arrived. She looked amazing and was so excited and happy. The ceremony went off without a hitch resulting in Dale and Charlene married.
The staff at the town hall were very professional and ran the ceremony extremely well. My hats off to them for doing a great job at keeping Dale and Charlene calm and getting them married in a relaxed manner.
The evening do
Once the wedding was over, the bride and groom were whisked away in their car to the evening venue. The chosen venue being the Bomersund Social Club in Stakeford, Northumberland. Of course, I had to get a shot of them in the car.
Over the course of the evening and night, more guests arrived to help Dale and Charlene celebrate their big day. Resulting in a night of much merriment and great times for all.
The best man gave his speech, resulting in not a dry eye in the house. His speech was heartfelt. You could tell he put his heart and soul into the speech.
The rest of the night went the same as the start, with laughing, jokes and fun for all. I wish the Thirtles many years of happiness together.
