You may have read the Facebook rant by Thomas Stewart of Thomas Stewart Photography in Southern Highlands, Australia, who wrote why camera phones, iPads and selfie sticks are ruining weddings. His post has been shared over 88k times and received over 121k likes to date.

British fashion photographer Miles Aldridge recently did a Game of Thrones Portrait shoot for Times Magazine. Miles even including the two show producers! The show is onto its penultimate series, airing in the UK on Sky Atlantic on a Monday night. Time magazine dedicated a whole issue to the most popular TV show in the world and commissioned Miles to shoot the stars for the cover. Continue reading “Game of Thrones Portraits”
February 1840, England and the 21-year-old Queen Victoria wed her prince, Prince Albert. The Queen wore a silk satin dress and white lace veil. As like all happy couples getting married, they wanted to document the occasion. Most couples today opt for photos but being the 19th-century photography was still in its infancy. So there weren’t many photographers available so the Queen and Prince opted for an oil painting instead.
